How to add YouTube to WordPressThis short guide will show you how to add YouTube to WordPress using oEmbed.

There are a host of sites that use the same process, which is to simply paste the URL of the media page into your WordPress content on a separate line.

You can find a list of all the services that use this simple copy and paste method right here.

How to add YouTube to WordPress

1. Find the YouTube video you want to embed into your content.

2. Copy the URL of the video from your browser.

Best place to get this is to click the Share button on the YouTube videos page.

3. Paste the URL into WordPress.

Make sure the web address is on a separate line.

4. Preview the page to make sure everything is working.

The YouTube video is rendered automatically when you either preview or publish the page in your browser.

Embed YouTube with a specific start time

Convert the time you want to start the video into seconds, then add it into the code example below:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaNH56Vpg-A&start=75]
